Summary: Canon Powershot A590IS
Comment: Fourth digital camera I've owned and one of the best. I'm not into a lot of gadgetry so I haven't used all the features but for a quick point and shoot it's a nice piece. Upgraded to 2GB SD memory card and that gives me plenty of space for over 500 photos even at the highest resolution.

Summary: Great little camera, get the aux flash unit.
Comment: Many reviews on the great aspects of the camera here, just one thing to add. The flash is OK for a point and shoot compact camera, but does take a few seconds to recharge between shots and uses batteries quickly. This is not unique to this camera and my guess is that it just takes power to make a good flash, no matter what camera you use. For those people that need better and faster flash performance, the add on flash unit is the trick. Save batteries and take better indoor flash pictures faster for around $90...

Comment: There's several incredibly detailed reviews that already break it down nicely so I'm not going to reinvent any wheels here. I'm just another person that bought one of these babies and am extremely happy with it. It was a bargain for the size and quality and the pics are beautiful.
