My always cold feet are cozy and warm with a thick pair of wool socks and these for car travel, short walks, or sitting around the office or house. BUT, as others have noted, they tend to run short (heel to toe) and I had to return them for one size larger than I would ordinarily wear for regular street shoes. I also bought three other Sorel boot products: slippers, rain boots, tall snow boots. All one size larger required, all great. I especially like the pull-on feature. No lost, broken, wet, frozen, tangled laces. Customer Rating: Summary: Toasty feet... Comment: I bought these specifically to wear to hockey games. Living in South Texas, you don't see much cold weather, so my extremities are not acclimated to temperatures below about 60 degrees fahrenheit! Comfortable and warm, I love them, just don't know how they'll do in WET weather being suede.
