Comment: I am very pleased with this product. First I got it quickly and it was very safely packed. But most important it worked exactly as it should. I placed the tip of the siphon cylinder in the patio fountain that needed draining, anchored the open end of the plastic tube below the bottom of the fountain with a brick, and pulled the handle all the way to the top. The water started to drain immediately. There was a bit of air in the flow, easily seen through the clear tube, so I pumped down then back up all the way and the water filled the tube completely. I then set the siphon carefully down and walked away. Thirty-something minutes later the fountain only had a quarter-inch of water left. I'm very pleased. I won't use this more than every month or two, but the siphon seems reasonably sturdy and I believe it will last me for years.

Comment: I wouldn't use it for pumping out a whole boat but it works well for small amounts. It's also a good transfer pump.

Comment: I have had to use this pump a couple of times when the gas cans were empty and I didn't want to drive 10 miles to get gasoline just to finish the lawn. It is simple to use and works great

Get that siphon hose out of your mouth! Swallowing petroleum products can be harmful of fatal. Use this siphon pump for transferring liquids instead of starting the siphon by drawing harmful liquids with your mouth. Simply pump a few strokes to get the flow started, and then fully extend the handle to keep the siphon flowing. Safe for use with gasoline, diesel fuel, or water. Complete with hose. Measures only 11 1/2'' H x 1 1/4'' diameter; pumps 4 oz. per stroke.
